Independent learning community
Continued Education — for the practicing paramedic is operated independently by Chance Veinotte. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any employer, ambulance service, health authority, hospital, physician group, educational institution, union, professional association, licensing body or regulator. A contributor’s employment, credentials, organizational affiliation, attendance or mention of an organization does not imply organizational involvement or approval. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Education only; no clinical direction
This platform supports peer learning, ECG interpretation, discussion of medical research, and scheduling of educational sessions. Content, uploads, comments, proposed interpretations, and administrator approval are not patient-specific medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, a standing order, medical oversight or authorization to perform a procedure. Do not use the site for real-time patient-care decisions or to request emergency assistance. Follow your established emergency and clinical consultation channels.
Training, protocols and scope take priority
Nothing here replaces formal education, supervised training, demonstrated competence, employer policies, applicable law, clinical practice guidelines, protocols, procedures, medical direction or your authorized scope of practice. Your applicable requirements always take priority. Do not apply a technique or medication merely because it is discussed here. Each participant remains responsible for verifying current evidence, contraindications, local requirements and their own authorization before practice.
Free access; no certification or guaranteed outcomes
The platform is free to use. Participation, case discussion, an uploaded paper, an attendance response or attendance at a session does not confer certification, accreditation, a qualification, academic credit, continuing-competency credit, clinical privileges, licensure, or an expanded scope of practice. No exam, employment, licensing, educational or clinical outcome is guaranteed. Obtain separate written confirmation from your regulator or accrediting body before claiming any credit.
Content limitations and moderation
Medical evidence changes. Material may be incomplete, outdated, disputed or incorrect, including content from experienced contributors. Verify primary sources and current guidance. A paper being shared is not an endorsement of its findings. ECG approval is a moderation step, not clinical validation, verification of lawful disclosure or a guarantee of anonymization. Credentials and expertise of participants are not independently verified by the site.
In-person sessions and ICU rounds
Calendar entries express availability, intentions and attendance responses; they do not authorize entry to a clinical facility, access to patients or records, observation of care or practice outside a participant’s role. Obtain the host institution’s and organizer’s required approvals, supervision, permissions and safety instructions separately. Follow infection-control, confidentiality and patient-consent requirements. Sessions may change or be cancelled; verify details with the organizer before attending.
Responsibility and lawful limitations
Use the site with professional judgment and read the Terms of Use. No disclaimer waives patient rights, eliminates the operator’s own legal duties, or removes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
